DENNIS ST. GERMAIN has been playing jazz guitar for over 50 years. During the early 1980's he pioneered the use of the Zetaphon guitar synthesizer with Steve Mosher in the St Germain Trio with Extra Texture. Dennis has had the privilege of playing with many of the best jazz players in the Eugene, Oregon area, including guitarist Gerry Rempel, bassist Hamilton Mays and drummer Bruce Cole. Based on his love of Latin Jazz, Dennis in 2000 formed the band Ritmo de la Noche with John Crider on keys and Carrie Jahde on drums. He then performed jazz over 3 years as the St. Germain Street Band. Dennis has now come full circle by playing with Steve Mosher in Confluence.

STEVE MOSHER is one of many who came to jazz from what is now called 'classic' rock, Steve transitioned to playing Rhythm and Blues with singer/harpist Curtis Salgado in 1974.  Upon discovering Jazz in 1976, he began playing and touring with notable northwest pianist Bill Sabol, a close relationship that endures to this day. Steve expanded his musical endeavours by forming and touring with the original Extra Texture in 1978.  In 1980 he began experimenting with the use of carbon fiber in the manufacture of musical instruments.  Along with continuing to perform in private with many local Eugene-area jazz players, he in 1989 incorporated Moses Carbon Graphite, a music industry company that for over 30 years produced carbon fiber-based components and parts for many well-known guitar and bass companies.

Sol Seed percussionist CARL LOPES blends his reggae-fusion, world music influences with St. Germain and Mosher's Brazilian and swing grooves to create the unique music of Confluence.
